The project develops the conditions for internationalization and innovation of companies in Tavastia Proper region and promotes the commercialization of product and service innovations of SMEs on the international market.

In the project, through experiments, a two-level concept of towards international success will be built for Tavastia Proper’s innovative companies. It will be divided into two work packages according to the companies’ capabilities, the development level of product or service innovations, and the international requirements. In the concept, experts coach companies towards the commercialization of innovations on the international market, and HAMK’s international students supplement the service concept with versatile company-specific services. The project tests customized design sprints and solutions for internationalization and commercialization of innovations for the micro and SME sector.

In addition, networking between companies and connection to various ecosystems and international networks will be promoted, and a framework will be created for the joint development of companies and students and the networking of companies’ business activities.

The project is implemented as a joint project with the Valkeakoski unit of Häme University of Applied Sciences.
